The artwork presented on Casa da Historias Paula Rego will be a large-formatted projection. As a site-specific project the final shape and narration will be determined by the architecture and space around it.

 

It is designed to be a moving animation within a frame of the building, like a single frame from a movie with different plots and stories enclosed within. That makes it an unique experience for each viewer to watch and interpret the whole picture. It will be accompanied by a dedicated soundtrack mixed by the artist himself.

What is important is that each Sochacki's public space artwork is made specifically and never reproduced anywhere else, so the audience is relating to something extraordinary.
