Lumina Light Festival - 8th edition!

Curated and produced by OCUBO, a studio with more than 20 years of national and international experience, the Festival is preparing to transform the municipality of Cascais into the brightest in the country over three nights.

This edition will feature contemplative, sculptural, interactive and immersive works, video mapping and live performances that will surprise all visitors with unique sensory experiences and lots of fun.

LUMINA is a free, inclusive event, designed for the whole family and a diverse audience that stands out for its emphasis on sharing and participation, promoting greater access to art and culture.

Its 7 editions has welcomed more than 1.5 million visitors, 122 national and international artists from 26 countries.

The LUMINA Festival of Light was awarded Best Cultural Event in 2013, included in the Top 10 European Light Festivals by The Guardian newspaper and received the EFFE label for Outstanding Festivals in the 2015-2016 and 2017-2018 editions.
